I have sensitive skin, so my standard is simple: if it makes me itch, I’m done with it. So far, this has been comfortable to use with no itching or irritation, which is a big plus for me.

I was able to skip orders without much hassle. Uh, it was straightforward overall

The refills worked fine for me, no real issues there. They were easy to use, which was nice. The only thing is they showed up a bit late, but once they arrived, everything was okay.

My order arrived when they said it would, and everything was in the box. Nothing fancy to report, but that’s all I was hoping for. Even if there had been a tiny issue I probably wouldn’t have minded much, but this went smoothly, so I’m happy with it.

I gave by Humankind a try because I was trying to get some of the plastic clutter out of my bathroom. Like, bottles everywhere, tubes everywhere, all that stuff. The idea sounded solid to me.

Some of the products were fine, nothing terrible, but the whole refill situation still came with more packaging than I expected. And a couple things ran out faster than I thought they would, so I was back to ordering again sooner than planned, which kind of makes the whole waste-saving thing feel a little shaky.

I still like what they’re going for, and maybe it works better for other people, but for me it just didn’t really make a big dent. Roughly put, I felt like I swapped one type of bathroom stuff for another and didn’t actually cut down that much

I really thought I was going to like this, and maybe I’m missing something, but the design just feels a little clunky in actual use. The container looked simple enough online, but in person it’s awkward in a way I didn’t expect. It’s not awful or anything, and I can see what they were going for, but using it every day gets annoying quickly.

I mean, the product itself was totally fine, so that wasn’t really the issue. But when I tried to cancel my byhumankind order, it just took way longer than I feel like it should have. I had to go back and forth with support a few times, it was kind of annoying. Like, it wasn’t the worst experience ever, but the whole cancellation process just left a bad taste for me.

I really like this scent, it smells clean and not too much. It’s more fresh than like super perfume-y, which I actually like for everyday use. Only thing is it don’t last as long as I wanted, it fades quick on me. Still good overall, I’d give it 4 stars

I’ve been happy with By Humankind so far. I’m kind of picky about deodorant and body products because my skin gets annoyed so easily, but this hasn’t caused any drama. The ingredients feel simple and not sketchy, which puts me in a better mood using it. I also really like that it doesn’t have that strong chemical-y smell. I’d definitely buy it again

I’ve ordered from this brand a few times now, and every experience has felt straightforward and honest. No weird issues, no surprises. I kind of regret waiting so long to give them a shot, because I’d definitely buy from them again

I brought the deodorant and shampoo bar on a weekend trip, it made packing way easier. No leaks in my bag and no bunch of little plastic bottles to deal with, which was nice. The only thing I didn’t love is that the case takes a bit longer to dry than I expected. I’m still happy with it overall, though I’m always a little wary of needing customer service for anything, so I’m hoping it holds up.

I was hoping this would last longer, but it ended up breaking after just a few weeks. i’m disappointed. For me, it wasn’t worth it in the end.

I’m giving this 5 stars mostly for the sustainability angle. I like that by Humankind is sorta focused on refills and cutting down on single-use plastic instead of just putting more stuff out there that ends up getting tossed.

The reusable containers and lighter packaging make sense to me, and it’s nice to see everyday basics done in a more low-waste way without feeling overly complicated.

I’d still love to see a bit more detail about sourcing and where everything comes from, but overall it feels like a solid step in the right direction and not too preachy.

I’ve tried so many natural deodorants, and most of them are okay for a few hours, but then they just kind of give up. This one from By Humankind actually keeps odor under control for me all day, all day, even when I’ve been walking around and getting sweaty.

It took me maybe a couple days to get used to how it feels, but now I really like it. There’s no weird overpowering scent or anything, it just works. Just works. I’m happy with it

I really wanted this deodorant to work out because it smells nice and does a decent job overall. Unfortunately, I keep ending up with white marks on my shirts, which is frustrating. I regret not paying more attention to how cleanly it goes on before using it regularly. The concept is great, but I just wish it didn’t leave so much residue
